Hood Vent Tech

Total Commercial Solutions is looking for Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician to work in lower mainland.

This is a part time position that requires schedule flexibility. It requires traveling to different job sites. Majority of the work is performed overnight or early morning. The candidate needs to have a valid driver license, fit to climb ladder, able to work with industrial power washer and able to work at heights.

The job duties include but not limited to:

  • Power washing of kitchen exhaust system including hoods, ducts, filters
  • Climb ladders to access rooftops
  • Set up and take down all equipment at the job site, including wiping down stainless steel, operating wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses and others
  • Take before and after pictures, emailing job reports
  • Maintain and report any deficiencies of equipment
  • Communicate with customers, be able to work with others as a team

Requirements must have:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Available to work 4-7 days a week
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License
  • Needs own vehicle
  • Able to work independently
